Medicare Supplement
Premiums
keep going up?
Your coverage didn't change, just your premium. Medicare Supplement benefits are set by federal law. So a Medicare Plan G with your current carrier will be the same exact Plan G with another carrier.
Illustration only, not quotes. Your own rate depends on your age, ZIP code, tobacco use and the carrier.

Why the same plan costs different amounts
Medicare Supplement plans are standardized by letter. A Plan G from one carrier covers exactly what a Plan G from another carrier covers. That part isn't up to them. The premium is.
Plan G - the most complete plan sold today
After the Part B deductible, it covers what Original Medicare leaves behind, including Part B excess charges. No copays for office or emergency visits, and very little out of pocket when you need care.
Plan N - a lower premium, with small copays
Covers nearly the same ground as Plan G for less each month. The tradeoff: a copay of up to $20 at the doctor and up to $50 at the emergency room, and it doesn't cover Part B excess charges.
Already have Plan F?
You can keep it. Plan F closed to anyone who became eligible for Medicare on or after January 1, 2020, but if you already hold one, it stays yours, and it can still be reviewed for price. Plans A, K, L and high-deductible G exist too; an agent can walk through those with you.
One thing a Supplement never includes
Prescription drug coverage. That comes from a separate Part D plan, and it's worth reviewing at the same time.

“I'd been with the same company for six years and never thought to check. Same Plan G, same doctors, and I pay less every month now.”Carol M., 71 - switched carriers last spring

Three questions · about 30 seconds · no obligation
Which Medicare Supplement plan do you have now?
It is printed on your carrier card, not your red, white and blue Medicare card. Not knowing is completely normal.
Roughly what premium do you pay each month now?
A close estimate is fine. This helps us understand whether comparing the same plan letter may be worthwhile.
This is only your current premium range, not a quote. Rates vary by age, ZIP code, tobacco use, carrier and other permitted factors.
Which of these sounds more like you?
You are on a Medicare Advantage plan today. These are two different directions a licensed agent can explain.
